Black History Month Celebration at library

Join Black Pflugerville and the Pflugerville Public Library to Remember The Pflugerville Historic Colored Addition Cemetery and work to develop a sustainable environment for those buried there. This event will take place on Saturday, February 17 from 3-5 p.m.

Come and enjoy:

  • Narratives of longtime Pflugerville families presented by the youth of the Excellence And Advancement Foundation.
  • A reading of Louis Smith’s Slave Narrative by James Ware.
  • A short video about the cemetery.
  • A Storytelling panel hosted by Meme Styles. Storytellers include Mayor Victor Gonzalez, Bertha Russell & Ernestine Brooks.
