Home School families are invited to learn about resources and services available to them at the library and throughout the City of Pflugerville at the Home School Pfair on Tuesday, April 17 from 1:30-3:00 pm.
Learn about Library programs, online resources, maker kits, and volunteering opportunities. Stop by the Heritage House Museum table to learn about Pflugerville’s local history resources. Families can also visit with other city departments to learn about the services they provide. Check back for details about participating departments.
Teens that are interested in getting a head start on college classes can talk to a recruitment and enrollment representative from Austin Community College.
This year, the Library is inviting local home school co-ops and community groups to participate in the event. The following guidelines must be met for co-op and home school community groups to participate in the Home School Pfair:
- Co-ops and community groups must be led by the parent of participating home school students.
- Co-ops and community groups must be not-for-profit. Any registration fees or class fees must go directly toward student learning materials, supplies, or field trips.
Inclusion of co-ops and other home school community groups in the Home School Pfair does not indicate endorsement by the Pflugerville Public Library.
If your group would like to participate in the Pfair, please email Amanda Cawthon at email@example.com by March 30.
