Poetry Writing Workshop

Gear up for National Poetry Month with a poetry writing workshop presented by creative writing professor Tracey Lander. Open to teens (12 and up) and adults. Registration opens on Monday, February 4, 2019. Held at the Pflugerville Public Library on March 14 from 2-4 p.m.

Author bio: Tracey Lander-Garrett holds an MFA in Poetry from Brooklyn College and a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Connecticut where she was a Connecticut Student Poet and a Wallace Stevens Poetry Contest winner. A former editor of the Long River Review, Brooklyn Review, and the Usdan Camp for the Arts’ literary magazine Painting with Words, she now teaches in the Badgerdog Creative Writing program through the Austin Public Library. She has had poetry and prose published in The Mid-America Poetry Review, Electric Windmill Press, Connotation Press, and others. She lives in Pflugerville with her husband and several recalcitrant cats.
